How to convert a PDF to PowerPoint
Someone sent you the PDF of a talk and you need to change one slide. This gives you the slides back.
- Drop the PDF on the box at the top.
- Press Convert to PowerPoint.
- Press Save the PowerPoint file and open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, LibreOffice or Google Slides.
What you can edit
The words are real text boxes, placed where they were on the page, so you can fix a figure or a name. The pictures and drawings of each page sit behind them as one image, which keeps the slide looking exactly like the PDF.
If a page has almost no words, as a scan does, the slide is only the picture. OCR PDF can give it words first.
Good to know
- Are the fonts the same?
- The size, weight and colour are kept. The font itself is replaced by a common one when your computer does not have it.
- What size are the slides?
- The same shape as the PDF pages, so nothing is stretched.
- Is the PDF uploaded?
- No. Everything happens in your browser.
