How to convert a PDF to EPUB
A PDF page is a fixed size, so on a phone or an e-reader you zoom and scroll. An EPUB flows to fit the screen, and you can make the text bigger.
- Drop the PDF on the box at the top.
- Change the title, author or language if they are wrong.
- Press Convert to EPUB, then Save the EPUB.
Chapters
The book is split at the largest headings found in the PDF, and they make the table of contents. A PDF with no headings is split every ten pages. Page numbers and repeated headers are left out.
Good to know
- Does it work on a Kindle?
- Recent Kindles take EPUB through Send to Kindle. Kobo, Apple Books and Google Play Books open it directly.
- Are the pictures kept?
- The text, headings, lists and tables are kept. For a picture book, a PDF stays the better choice.
- Is the PDF uploaded?
- No. The e-book is written in your browser.
